Leadership Ministry

Mission: Operate and multiply our ZOE Ministry School to train Christian workers in unreached areas of the world.

What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:2 (ESV)

The ZOE Ministry School (ZMS) is a two-year ministry school for young adults with a curriculum focused on developing pastors, evangelists, and Christian leaders in business and other disciplines. Our ministry school has graduated over 100 students. Each class consists of 15-30 students. These impressive young men and women are having a tremendous impact. Many Thais have heard the Good News and accepted Christ through their witness.

The goal of ZMS is to produce graduates who have a strong knowledge of the Bible, who have learned and begun to master the principles of leadership and business, who have a passing ability to speak English and Thai, and who are educated and articulate regarding all aspects of human trafficking, particularly with respect to the trafficking of children.

ZMS is a boarding school. All students live at ZOE facilities in Doisaket in northern Thailand. We charge a very nominal “tuition” for students because most would simply not be able to afford the true cost of providing them with room, board, uniforms, books and supplies, transportation and other necessities. Our goal is to ensure that young men and women with a hunger to learn more about the Bible and to enter some form of ministry are able to do so. For students who absolutely cannot afford tuition, we provide scholarships and a work-study program whereby the students work one hour per day at the ZOE campus cleaning up or helping with our sustainable agriculture program.

The ZMS schedule is intense with students waking at 5 a.m. each morning for an hour of individual Bible study (they are on a program that takes them through the entire Bible in one year). At 6 a.m., the students gather for one hour of corporate prayer in our worship room. At 7 a.m. the students have breakfast and at 7:30 they get ready for class. From 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. the students gather for corporate worship and report to class at 9 a.m. From 9 a.m. until noon the students have 3 hours of Bible study taught by our staff and guest pastors and teachers. Lunch is at noon. From 1-2 p.m. the students have an hour of English instruction in one of three levels we offer (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). From 2-4 p.m. they are in business/leadership class learning skills such as budgeting, planning, scheduling, public speaking, preparing and delivering reports, and critical analysis. At 4 p.m. the students have one hour of stewardship where they help around the ZOE campus. Dinner is at 5 p.m. and afterwards the students have time to study until lights out at 9 p.m. Once a week we take the students on street witnessing and passing out tracts at one of Chiang Mai’s many outdoor night markets. We distribute over 100,000 Thai-language Gospel tracts a year and have had many individuals ask for prayer and accept the Lord. The school is in session Monday-Friday and half a day on Saturday.

Twice a month we roll our ZOE trucks out to remote villages where many people have never heard of Jesus Christ. We take half of our ZMS students as well as a team of experienced ZOE staffers on outreaches of two, three or more days. We deliver food, clothing, medicine and other staples door-to-door in these poor villages and bring the hand of friendship as well as the Good News of Jesus to them. We will conduct a night service at the local church, if any, or the community center, school, or even an open field if necessary. Many have accepted Christ over the past years. We also partner with the Children’s Hunger Fund and churches in these areas to provide food and other needs to their communities. This program combines evangelistic outreach with educating vulnerable people about human trafficking and has reached over 10,000 individuals in the past three years.

Our ZMS students are involved daily with the care and mentoring of the children we rescue from trafficking. Our second-year students, in particular, are tasked to serve as “big brothers” and “big sisters” to our ZOE kids. They assist our ZOE house parents with watching the children and modeling godly behavior to them.

ZOE’s vision for leadership training includes three disciplines: Bible training for ministry, business and leadership training, and training in vocations, the media, and the arts. The graduates are primarily nationals prepared in their calling and ready to influence their nation for Jesus Christ and equipped to reach their generation with the gospel of Christ. We also train missionaries and provide placement for them in the mission field. Our ministry school is curriculum based and is therefore able to be extended into mobile Bible schools throughout the nations.

Prayer Ministry

Mission: Raise up a world prayer center to further God’s kingdom in the earth and send prayer invasion teams to prepare the way of the Lord to bring revival through evangelism and discipleship.

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 (ESV)

World Prayer Center, Prayer Invasion Teams, Network of Prayer

ZOE’s vision for prayer ministry includes operating a world prayer center where prayer will be offered to God continuously with the emphasis on prayer for the lost souls of humanity, the expansion of the church worldwide, and the abolishment of human trafficking globally. Our vision also includes sending prayer invasion teams that represent the first phase of ZOE’s “Apostolic Ministry Teams” strategy. These teams of intercessory prayer warriors will saturate a city through prolonged and powerful prayer. They will pull down demonic strongholds and pray for God’s kingdom to invade the area. We will network with churches and other prayer ministries who share our passion to see God glorified in all the earth.

Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. Psalm 2:8 (ESV)

Evangelism Ministry

Mission: Incorporate evangelism in all we do and send evangelism ministry teams who fulfil the Great Commission by winning the lost to Christ.

I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 (ESV)

Evangelistic Crusades, Campus Outreach Ministry, Concerts, Films, Media and the Arts, Bible and Christian Literature Distribution

ZOE’s vision for evangelism ministry is to bring eternal life through the Gospel to lost humanity. Evangelistic ministry also includes evangelistic ministry teams as phase two of our “Apostolic Ministry Teams” strategy.

These teams penetrate a city through evangelistic and miracle gatherings, street evangelism, campus outreach ministry, the use of the arts – concerts, films, drama, dance, television, radio, and mass Bible literature distribution.

We primarily target children to young adults who comprise the most receptive and greatest harvest field on earth. Our goal is to invite churches and other ministries to join us in a concentrated effort as we synergistically share in a nameless work for the Name of Christ.

And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. Acts 2:47 (ESV)

Discipleship Ministry

Mission: Grow disciples, equip churches, and pioneer indigenous churches through the aid of discipleship teams.

So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied. Acts 9:31 (ESV)

Church and Community Center Construction

ZOE’s vision for discipleship ministry is to grow disciples in all we do, to build Christ’s Church, and is part of the last phase of our “Apostolic Ministry Teams” strategy. Discipleship ministry teams consist of trained ministry workers planting indigenous churches in newly harvested cities. The churches are part of an apostolic network where oversight and accountability are consistently managed. Some of those in our vocational training program are equipped to build churches upon graduation.

Our goal is to have a state-of-the-art church research and resource center to provide churches with continued support and proven innovations in church ministry. These churches are not to be merely houses of worship, but community centers that provide for the various needs of their communities. This church network will include house churches and home cell groups, and a curriculum that disciples new believers from no knowledge of Christianity to a mature knowledge of Christ.

So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily. Acts 16:5 (ESV)

Secular Ministry

Mission: Influence secular society with the Gospel, while providing works of compassion and relevant success strategies for business, education and government.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 (ESV)

Business and Leadership Seminars
ZOE English Language Services
J.O.Y. Clubs – English and Bible Classes for Children
Humanitarian Aid / Medical Missions

ZOE’s vision for secular ministry is to reach out to the business world, the educational community, and government by involving ourselves in serving those sectors. We do this by providing services that are of interest to them while giving us the opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. These services will include business and leadership seminars featuring expert motivational speakers, English language training to help satisfy the global interest in English, J.O.Y. Clubs (“Jesus, Others, You”) that teach children English and the Bible, and humanitarian aid including medical missions. These will all give secular society relevant success strategies integrated with the Gospel right where they live.

But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. James 2:18 (ESV)
